Foster Hope And Re-imagine The Future
Who We Are
WORKBOOTS is a not-for-profit organization
that provides community-driven efforts to help empower low-income and disenfranchised African-American communities by introducing them to trade skillsets that lead to productive and promising futures.
What We Do
We are focused on providing the vital resources necessary for at-risk youth in African American communities across Chicago's Southside to help create a positive future. Through educational programs, food drives, and events---we create a connection with our communities to work together to develop a growing environment for children and young adults.
Upcoming Initiatives
Every Saturday in July, from
July 10th to the 31st (2021), our summer learning program will provide youth with the opportunity to learn trade skills using various materials and tools---We're making a pizza box circuit! Our program aims to teach our youth how to be hands-on, problem solvers in their everyday life and community.
Together, We Can.
WORKBOOTS relies on corporate, cultural, and education partners to provide greater learning experiences for our youth. Donations of materials, services, and more can be provided to the underserved youth of Chicago's most impoverished communities.
WORKKBOOTS and our mission thrive with the support of our partners, volunteers, and people like you. If you believe in investing in the future of at-risk youth and their communities, there are many ways you can lend a helping hand.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals as we work to empower children with choices and skills that lead to productive futures,.
